Students accompanied by their parent/guardian or emergency contact designee leaving early must report to the main/front office. Students leaving early must notify main/front office. The request must include reason for leaving, the time of dismissal, and a note containing the parent/guardian signature that include a daytime phone number for verification. An early dismissal is granted only after verbal confirmation is received from a parent/guardian or emergency contact designee. |

Question: How do I get missed work when my child is out sick? |

When your child is out for due to illness for three consecutive school days, please call your child’s teacher and request homework. Your child’s teacher will arrange with you a date and time to pick up homework. Parents and students are also encouraged to check the classroom web pages for current assignments. |

Question: What happens if a student becomes ill while is school? |
|
Students who become ill during school will see the school nurse of other designee. Parent/guardian will be notified and determination will be made regarding an early dismissal. |

Question: Who do I make my lunch check to? |

Please make your lunch check payable to Prince William County Food Service (or PWCFS) and have your student give it to the main/front office staff or classroom teacher. |

Question: Can my student ride a different bus home from school for activities unrelated to school? |
|
If a student needs to ride a different bus home they may bring a note from their parent/guardian to the main/front office before school. The note should contain the student’s name, their parent’s name and phone number, the name of the person they wish to go home with, the date they will be riding the bus, and the bus number. The note will be verified with the parent and permission granted on a case-by-case basis. |

Question: Can my student take their exams early if my vacation plans conflict with the exam schedule? |

Exams cannot be taken early. We allow for exams to be made up during the Summer. Arrangements must be made in advance through the school’s Administrator. |
