CBI
Community Based Instruction (CBI) is an integral part of the school's curriculum. Students participate in work programs outside the school setting to provide real life work experiences to develop job skills. The teachers work cooperatively with other special education programs to provide role models for the students and actual community experiences through creative scheduling. These CBI opportunities provide practical application of the curriculum. Employment opportunities for older students are based upon these actual experiences, the student’s desires and aptitude.
